The Content section of the application allows you to develop, edit and add Key Learning Points to enabling objectives within a module and create a learning scalar. This guide will help you navigate the Content page, perform essential tasks, and understand the various features available.

The Content page allows you to generate the Key Learning Points. Key Learning Points are generated by Module.

Selecting the Module

Content for the course is created by module, to select the module that you wish to create content for, click on the drop down menu and select the module that you wish to edit.

Creating a Module Description

In the Content Page, you are able to generate a description of the module. Click on the Generate Module Description Button and Schema will analyse the module and provide you with an overall aim of the content within.

You can edit or change the Module Description as required. Once you are satisfied with the content of the Module Description, click on the Save Button. The Module Description will now appear in the cell below the course title. You can edit this description at any time by clicking on the Edit Pencil.

Creating Key Learning Points

To create Key Learning Points, click on the Action Menu and select Key Learning Points.

Select the objectives that you wish to create Key Learning Points for by checking the relevant box. It is recommended that you create KLPs in batches rather than selecting all KLPs at once. Once you have selected the required KLPs, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Generate Button.

The generated KLPs will appear under the relevant objective with an approximate time that it will take to deliver each KLP. You are able to delete those that you do not want to keep or amend the KLPs accordingly. Once you are happy with the KLPs, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Save Button.

Adding and Editing Objectives and Key Learning Points

Training objectives, enabling objectives and key learning points can be edited or added in the content page. To add a Training Objectives, click on the black + button.

When adding a training objective, you must manually enter the Training Objective number in accordance with the number system being used and the training objective text. After entering the number and title, click the Save Button.

To edit a Training Objective, click on the Pencil Icon.

Editing Training Objectives

Select the Training Objective that you wish to edit, it will open a cell where you can now change and edit the training objective. Once you are satisfied with the changes, click the Save Button.

To add an Enabling Objective, click in the three dots to the right of the Training Objectives, a sub menu will open indicating Add Enabling Objective or Edit Enabling Objective. Select the Add Enabling Objective option.

Enter Unique Reference Number of the new Enabling Objective, the unique reference number should follow the numbering system in use for objective numbering, and the Enabling Objective Text. Once you have entered the details, click the Save Changes Button.

To edit an enabling objective, follow step 5 selecting the Edit Enabling Objective Function in the menu. Select the Enabling Objective you wish to edit and make the required changes. Once you have completed the changes click on the Save Button.

To add a Key Learning Point, click in the three dots to the right of the Enabling Objective, a sub menu will open indicating Add Key Learning Point or Edit Key Learning Point. Select the Add Key Learning Point option. Type in the text required and click on Save Changes.

To edit a Key Learning Point, follow step 8 selecting the Edit Key Learning Point Function in the menu. Select the Enabling Objective you wish to edit and make the required changes. You can view any of the comments made by the Subject Matter Experts by clicking on the Show SME Comments, this will allow you to review SME suggestions and include relevant ones in the changes. Once you have completed the changes click on the Save Button.

Creating a Learning Scalar

Once you have generated the KLPs for each of the course modules, you can download a Learning Scalar. To download the Learning Scalar, simply click on the More Actions menu and select Create Learning Scalar, the Learning Scalar will download to your computer. The Learning Scalar will list all of the content in Module order and within the modules in the order to be delivered.
