The Accreditation section of the application allows you to find qualifications that are available that may align to your role you are creating. You can also review the objectives created as part of the DSAT process against the objectives within a nationally recognised qualification to analyse the similarities and make recommendations to support accreditation. This guide will help you navigate the Accreditation page, perform essential tasks, and understand the various features available.
Once you have identified potential qualifications that may suit the role, users can analyse and compare the objectives. Shadow will then provide an overview of any gaps between the two and recommendations for closing the gap.
Select the qualification you wish to assess the role against and click on the Alignment button. Click on the pencil icon to review the data and once you are satisfied with the data click save.
Accreditation Analysis
To analyse the gap between the role training objectives and the qualification objectives click on the accreditation button. Click on the pencil button to review and edit the data.
Conducting the Alignment and Accreditation actions does not mean that the course is now aligned but merely allows individuals to begin a conversation around the appetite for accreditation.
