Delivery timeline planner

Plan, schedule and track the Delivery phase as a project. Each row is an activity from the DSAT page, in the same order and with the same references and guides. Set your start date and Ready for Training Date, enter the durations and owners, then update the status as the work progresses. The plan recalculates the dates, the critical path and your remaining time automatically.

Top tip: start from the signed-off design. Import the approved course from Schema (1.1) so every resource traces back to its lesson, KLP and objective. Check the import (1.2) before building anything.
Top tip: size the plan yourself. Every activity starts at 0 working days. JSP 822 and the DTSMs don't set durations, so enter your own figures and mark activities you don't need as "Not required".
Top tip: protect the Ready for Training Date. Activities outlined in black are on the critical path, so any slip there moves the date the course is ready. Record schedule risks on the RAID register.

Top tip: book SME time early. The SME Review of resources (2.5) is where delivery plans usually slip. Book SME time when you set the plan.
Top tip: assessment sign-off is a gate. Sign Off Assessment (4.5) follows your organisation's approvals process. Set "Approval days" to your approving authority's real lead time. Assessments can't be downloaded for delivery until it is passed.
Top tip: build assessments alongside resources. Assessment work (step 4) only depends on the imported course, so it runs in parallel with resource development (step 2).

Edit the start and finish dates on any activity. A start date you set is fixed and highlighted; clear it to return to the scheduled date. Changing a finish date updates the working days. Your plan is saved automatically in this browser only. Select Save plan to save your changes straight away. Use Load plan file to open a plan file shared by your team.
