Highlights

Shadow

New

Organise Conditions and Standards with tags

Tags are coming to the Conditions and Standards (C&S) module, helping you categorise your data and add C&S to tasks and objectives more easily.

  • A new administration screen lets you create and maintain tags.
  • Apply multiple tags to Objective and Task C&S from the updated management screens.
  • Filter C&S by tag when applying them, to create bespoke sets for particular roles, functions, schools or organisations.
  • This is a phased rollout: tags will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
New

Import unstructured role documents with AI

You can now upload plain-text, unstructured Role Scalars and Role Performance Statements (RPS), and AI converts them into a fully compliant data structure that Shadow accepts immediately.

  • No manual formatting is needed, saving significant preparation time.
  • This is a phased rollout: the feature will appear in your environment over the coming weeks as access expands to all users.

Schema

Fix

Assessment button no longer runs on modules with no lessons

The Assessment action button no longer triggers for a module with zero lessons, preventing errors where the AI tried to generate questions for empty content.
