Redesigned alignment in Shadow and quick-start lesson creation in Sphere
Shadow's redesigned alignment workspace begins rolling out, Sphere can start small lessons without an existing Schema course, and Sift-supported citations are more accurate. Sphere's legacy PowerPoint generation service will be retired over the coming weeks.
Compare and record alignment decisions more clearly
Shadow's redesigned alignment workspace provides a clearer and more controlled way to compare imported requirements with existing Tasks and Objectives, review proposed decisions and record the final outcome.
The redesign will begin rolling out to customers over the next few days.
Clearer first-use guidance explains the alignment process and the decisions users need to make.
Objective-to-objective and task-to-task workflows provide more focused comparison views.
Review and adjust proposed match strength.
Add manual matches and record supporting notes.
Change decisions, or return them to their original proposed state, while the alignment remains in progress.
Improved filters, progress indicators and row counts make larger alignments easier to work through.
Alignment decisions retain clearer provenance, supporting review and the final alignment report.
Background processing has been streamlined to reduce duplicate activity and provide more consistent progress updates.
Sphere can now be used as a starting point for small, self-contained lesson and resource-development needs, without requiring an existing Schema course structure.
Start with a short list of Training Objectives, Enabling Objectives or Key Learning Points.
Sphere can propose supporting Key Learning Points where you begin with higher-level objectives.
Imported Key Learning Points are enhanced with supporting amplification content and can be used in the normal resource-generation workflow.
Begin with a short description of the lesson you need, and Sphere proposes an initial lesson structure for review.
Quick-start lessons are placed within an appropriate course and module structure so they remain organised and editable.
This capability is intended for small or urgent lesson-development needs. Schema remains the appropriate starting point for larger-scale training design, requirement governance and course development.
Over the next few weeks, Sphere's legacy PowerPoint presentation-generation service will be retired.
Existing presentations created through the legacy service will remain available.
You will still be able to open, edit and download those presentations.
The legacy method will no longer be available for generating new presentations once the transition is complete.
New presentations can now be created through Sphere's fully integrated presentation editor and downloaded in either interactive HTML or PowerPoint format.
No action is required now. Further notice will be given as the legacy generation option is withdrawn.
Sift numbers supporting citations more accurately in answers provided to connected Agilexe applications, making it easier to move between an answer and its supporting evidence in applications such as Shadow.
Citation markers in generated answers now correspond directly with the accompanying source list.
Repeated references to the same source retain a consistent citation number.
Unsupported citation markers are removed rather than displaying a reference that has no corresponding source.
