Highlights

Shadow

Improvement

Review the evidence behind Sift-supported role descriptions

The role-description experience in Shadow has been redesigned to make AI-supported drafting and its underlying evidence clearer.

  • Information retrieved through Sift is presented more clearly.
  • Supporting citations are easier to review alongside the generated role description.
  • Citation references are protected when users refine the generated content.
Improvement

See a role's RAID items in a card-based view

The RAID area now provides an additional card-based view, giving users a clearer and more cohesive overview of the risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies associated with a role.

Sphere

New

Generate interactive HTML presentations from Key Learning Points

Sphere can now generate interactive HTML presentations directly from selected Key Learning Points, which can be opened, reviewed and edited within Sphere before being downloaded as self-contained resources.

  • Slides can be reordered using the presentation storyboard.
  • Text, images and supported interactive components can be edited.
  • AI-generated images can be added while editing a presentation.
  • Presentations can include knowledge checks, quizzes and interactive content.
  • Additional presentation backgrounds, grids and component layouts are available.
  • Speaker notes and presentation controls are included in downloaded presentations.
  • A dedicated reading mode provides a clearer experience on mobile devices.
Improvement

Choose, generate and refine lesson resources more easily

The lesson resource selector and editing experience have been redesigned to make it easier to choose, generate and refine different resource types.

  • The resource switcher provides a clearer way to move between available outputs.
  • PowerPoint editing screens provide a clearer indication of slide layout and content placement.
  • Slide lists and editing controls have been improved.
  • Image generation now follows the organisation's configured AI provider where supported.
Improvement

Cleaner, more consistent Sphere pages

Several key Sphere pages have been redesigned to provide a cleaner, more consistent and more intuitive experience, with clearer page structures and better use of the available workspace.

Improvement

Find common resource actions more easily

Resource selection, generation and editing controls have been reorganised to make common actions easier to find and help users move more efficiently between lessons, resources and editing workflows.

Sift

Improvement

Organise and manage larger document sets

The Documents area has been updated to make it easier to organise and manage larger document sets.

  • Multiple documents can now be deleted together using the new bulk-delete action.
  • Users can create a new collection while adding selected documents, without first leaving the Documents page.
  • Documents that belong to one or more collections are now identified more clearly.
  • Document table layouts, processing labels and upload-selection behaviour have been improved.
Improvement

Faster and more reliable document processing

Sift's document-processing capability has received a significant performance and resilience uplift.

  • Multiple documents can now be processed concurrently.
  • New uploads are prioritised so they are not held behind an existing backlog.
  • Images within larger documents can be enriched in parallel, significantly improving processing times for image-heavy material.
  • Repeated logos and small header or footer images can be excluded from enrichment, reducing unnecessary processing and improving the quality of results.
  • Large and complex PDFs are handled more reliably, including documents containing unusually large extracted text sections.
  • Temporary processing failures are retried automatically before a document is marked as requiring attention.
Improvement

Word document citations are easier to read

The experience of reviewing Microsoft Word documents and their supporting citations has been improved.

  • Citation content extracted from Word documents is displayed more clearly and is easier to read.
  • Supporting document and search usability improvements have also been applied.
